As you can see in the picture above the UK has a wide range of foods they produce. Since there are many different regions and cultural groups in the UK, there are many different diet types. Unfortunately in England most adults are overweight or obese. Some of England's most famous dishes include Fish and Chips and Shepherds Pie. (projectbritain.com)

The UK is the 8th largest tourist destination. Over 30.7 million people visited the UK in 2011 and 17 billion dollars was spent by foreign countries visiting the UK(visitbritian.org) . Tourism in the UK is closely tied to the climate and geography. Most people when visiting the UK take great interest in the countryside and coast. For example, one thing on most tourists list is visiting the Hadrian’s Wall. The Hadrian Wall is part of “what is known as the 'Roman Limes'”, the Hadrian wall goes from the Atlantic coast of northern Britain, to the Black Sea, through to the Red Sea and across North Africa to the Atlantic coast. It was built by the Roman Emperor Hadrian, it took soldiers 6 years to build the wall, which was 80 Roman miles long (73 modern miles) . The Hadrian wall goes through the mountains of the UK, many people hike these mountains to see this well preserved piece of roman history. Another big tourist site is the coast lines. The UK is well known for their beautiful coasts. One frequently visited coast is the Isles of Scotland.(visitbritian.org)
